East Anglia Sunday 1st April 2012
The Club's Spring meeting will be a French Car Day at the Turk's Head, Hasketon, near Woodbridge, Suffolk, from noon. A map and directions are on the pub's website. Other French car clubs have been invited.

The biennial Simca Matra Talbot (SMT) event will be held at Wesel, Germany. For details check the German club website

14.30 to 17.30 Visit to the Chateau du Moulin, museum of the strawberry
17.30 Wine tasting within the Chateau walls
18.30 Return to the Hotel Astrotel
20 to 22.00 Meal
22.00 Slideshow and video presentation on the Rancho
Sunday 27th May
9.30 to 11.30 Visit to the pottery at Parpecay
12.30 to 14.30 Meal at Restaurant La Grange O Loup, St Loup sur cher
15 to 17 Visit to the medieval centre of Mennetou sur Cher

In view of the proximity of the above events, there is an opportunity to combine the two into an extended vacation. Here is the provisional itinerary, further details will be added as they become available:
Sunday 20th - Depart SMT for Arnhem. Visit info centre at John Frost Bridge
Monday 21st - Visit Airborne Museum at Hartenstein €8
Tuesday 22nd - Visit Carjoy at Leerdam
Wednesday 23rd - Visit Charleroi historic centre
Thursday 24th - Visit to Reims Cathedral, and old F1 control centre
Friday 25th - Visit Orleans, Cathedral of Sainte Croix, head to Romorantin

“La Vie en Bleu” at Prescott Hill Climb. This will be the Club Spring meeting. As some members will be at the Romorantin meeting this year, we are having a joint stand with the Simca Club. Discounted tickets will be available to Club members booking in advance. Please email Marion if you are attending to enable us to gauge numbers.

"Simply French" day at the Beaulieu Motor Museum. Would anyone interested in going please contact Clive Nelson as we may have enough interested members to qualify for a dedicated parking area and discounted entry rates.
