The final date of the British Grand Prix has been changed from the provisional date of the first weekend of July to the second weekend. The Grand Prix causes major travel disruption in the Northampton area and all the available accomodation is taken up as soon as the date is confirmed. We have therefore decided to change the dates of IMLEC 2005 back to the 2^nd and 3^rd July as originally announced. Apologies for any confusion this causes but we want to avoid the sort of problems which arose during IMLEC 1996 which was held on the same weekend as the Grand Prix.

The event will be held at the NSME Ltd. track in Lower Delapre Park off London Road in Northampton. Northampton is easily accessed from any part of the country by road as it is close to the M1 North/South motorway and the A43 and A14 for travellers from the West or East of England. There is ample free parking adjacent to the site. Vehicles will only be admitted to the main track site for unloading or loading and must be removed immediately this is completed.

Camping facilities are available in the park adjacent to the site but pre-booking is essential. A list of local accommodation has been put together.

Admission to the event will be by programme costing £5 and available at the gate. The programme will be valid for admission on both days. Accompanied children under 16 will be admitted free but unaccompanied children will not be admitted
