Balaia Golf Village is set in garden surroundings and boasts a first class restaurant, two snack bars, six outdoor swimming pools (two are heated), children's pools and 4 all-weather tennis courts. Part of the development includes a golf range and golf school run by a PGA professional.
Balaia's own 9 hole (par 3) golf course is now well established. It runs through the heart of the complex and boasts its own club house, pro shop and restaurant.
There is also a Health Club which includes a large indoor heated swimming pool, gymnasium, Jacuzzi and saunas. There is also specialist sports/remedial massage in the Health Club.
Special discounted rates are available to Balaia guests for all the above sporting activities.

The Accommodation
Situated on the award winning Balaia Golf Village development, this two-bedroom apartment is ideally situated on the Portuguese Algarve, a region which is renowned for its weather, stunning beaches and glorious golf courses.
The south-facing apartment (which is suitable for 4/5 people) is on the first floor of a low-rise block and comprises;
Two double bedrooms one of which has an en-suite bathroom. The en-suite room leads out onto its own private balcony
Two bathrooms with bath, shower, bidet and toilet
Fully fitted kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle etc
Large combined dining and living area with multi-channel satellite television. This area leads out onto the second private balcony
Heating is by electric convector and panel heaters in the bedrooms and living rooms.
For added peace of mind and convenience, there is a safe in the apartment for guests to use.

These are the weekly tariffs which include all heating, electricity, water and gas. These are per apartment rates and are the same for up to 4 guests using the apartment. We will require an additional small charge if the apartment is shared by 5 or 6 people.

Balaia Village sits on the outskirts of Albufeira, a traditional fishing town in the centre of the Algarve Region. The Algarve is renowned for its mild weather, good food, fine wines and friendly people.
The beautiful Maria Luisa beach is just a 10-minute stroll away whilst lovely Santa Eulalia beach would take about the same time to reach on foot.

Near Faro is the Ria Formosa salt marshes and lagoons. This area is on the migratory pathway of the eastern Atlantic and is visited by thousands of sea birds each year. With more than 30,000 birds, this is the second most important wetland in Portugal for wintering water birds.

Getting there.
Balaia Golf Village is only a short drive from Faro International airport where most quality car hire companies are available. Faro has links to all major European airports and is typically only a 2.5 hour flight from the UK. If you are travelling from the UK, Faro airport is served by the major regional airports and carriers.
