The Corrs were supposed to come to play here in Germany later this
month. This has been re-sceduled to late May (no exact dates yet).
Rumour has it, that this was because of overwhelming demand for tickets.
I guess they´re finally making some serious sales here :)))

The Corrs are here!!
They are here in KL for a promo visit, so they won't perform unfortunately.
However, I may go get my CD signed.
Next stop, Manila.
By the way, this is the best Corrs site I've visited.

I fell in love with the Corrs on my way to Irelans last summer.
I was watching a segment of their video for "Right Time" and fell in
love right there. I haven't been able to find any albums here in the
states except for "Forgiven..." I love the corrs, your website, and
would love any info on receiving videos and/or albums of the band.
Thanks A Lot.... Jim

Thank you for some decent music at long last, went to see the band
at Sparks Disco in Singapore last weekend, the acoustic show was terrific,
the best show i have seen since i saw U2 at the Barrowland in 1980 gives
you some idea of my age, the band smiled a lot which may have been
something to do with the enthusiastic response from the local
Singaporians and yes it was a good day for all of Ireland and a great
day for all music lovers in Singapore, you certainly made a big impression
with everyone this night. Hope you keep your word and do make it back here
in the later part of the year. up until Friday night i had never heard of
the Corrs but after saturday Night my family will hear nothing but the
Corrs. i'm not an obsessed group fan and if i get caught writing this
message it could be quite embarrassing an

I think Peter has done a great job getting people
to know the Corrs to the Core. I am a big fan of
the Corrs and wondering if the Corrs have their
own E-mail address so that I can send messages to
them directly.
                     bye, Matt.

I am from South Africa, yet I am very interesting in Irish music.
Everything from U2 to Enya and all the bits in between. On a chat line
I heard about the Corrs and discovered that they are an Irish band. I
would like to know a little more about them and their music.
Unfortunately I don't have a sound card and so I will try to find a copy
of their music in SA.

Anyway thanks again. I am going to look at your page properly now.
I like to give feedback/sign guestbooks, because my system is a little
funny and it often hangs up on me :-)

hi there.

it's my first time here at your site and i think it's fab.. i'm a new
fan of the corrs as i only picked up their album a few weeks ago. i
feel there is insufficient news about their visits across the globe
because you made no mention of them dropping by at kuala lumpur,
malaysia. they were here on monday the 13th to perform as well as sign
autographs. i was present and i can tell you that i was captured by
their excellent performance. i believe they can do well globally, or
here at least, judging by the crowd that turned up at the Tower Records
here. i would glady contribute some pictures and news of their visit
here if you're interested, let me know through e-mail.

Great website. Just to let u know, Corrs performed in Tower Records,
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 13th April, 1998 as part of their promo
for 'Talk On Corners'. They performed about 5 to 6 numbers. The
crowd was mesmerised to say the least. The vocal abilities and
the harmonies were exquisite.Jim mentioned that they might have
a full concert in October,98 in K.L. I am looking forward to it.
Keep the good work, ya!

Finally! I found one of their website! I really like their
band, they're music is so cool... They went here in
the Philippines and I watched them perform at Fashion Cafe
last April 17, and whoa, awesome performance...
I really like their song "I Never Really Loved You Anyway".
I liked the MTV, it's really cool... More power to The Corrs..
And to the webmaster of this site, nice job... I'd really want to meet
them personally... Keep it up!

Just to add on Kareem Koh's review on the Corrs promo appearance in
Tower Records, Kuala Lumpur.
The band played without a drum set unfortunately but to compensate,
Caroline worked hard on the bodhran to keep the tempo up. Only on the
later songs, accompanied music was played which in my opinion detracted
a little from the performance as there is no substitute for 'live' sounds.

Despite that, the performance was tight with Andrea and Sharon having the
fans licking from their palms especially when the tin whistle and violin
were played. Jim proved strong with his driving guitar riffs. During
Paddy McCarthy, each band member performed solo on their instrument,
Andrea on her tin whistle(exquisite), Sharon on violin, Caroline on
bodhran and Jim on guitar. Vocal wise, Andrea really soared though
the sound set

The Corrs are a really good band. I was surprised how good they were
compared to older 'celtic' bands. I'm a sax player studying celtic music
at uni in Birmingham. Any ideas - esp. re. use of sax in celtic music

You know why I love this site? Two reasons: Because it is just so
damn good, and a second reason: BECAUSE IT IS ABOUT THE CORRS! The layout
is excellent, although perhaps you could use some little gifs next to your
links so as to make it easier to see the particular choices available. It
is rather difficult to process into your head which words lead to where
when they are only separaed by a single thin line. But basically, though,
it is an excellent site. Lots of information.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

I've wondered for some time whether the Corrs could make the commercial
singles breakthrough in the UK through a dance remix from someone like
Todd Terry.

Re. the Fleadh, a friend in London assures me that the Bangles are playing,
which is another to add to the list - but I haven't been able to find the
full line up yet.

All the best

Colin

Hi Peter,

I'm Joanna from Malaysia & I'm sort of a webassistant of Tony, Cyril &
Aurelie's The Corrs' French Website. I noticed that the concert review
by Kareem Koh - the song that she said sounded like "Paddy McCarthy" was
actually "Haste To The Wedding" 'cos I was there that night AND the second
night performance (by invitation)where Sharon announced the name of the
song (which I think was still not that familiar to the Malaysian fans).
Just to let you know... BTW, great work you're doing for the Corrs! They
are the best band in the world!

May 4th: Went out and purchased both copies of
"Dreams" Brilliant single. It is nice to hear
Mick Fleetwood on Drums from one of their original
songs, but I will admit, Andrea does sing it much
better.

Can I also suggest something? That you create a
voting/Petition form for a video of The Corrs
singles to be made and then send it to the record
company. As I am fed up of seeing clips of their
songs on either VH-1 or MTV.

Thanks
  Karl
