THE CORRS GO BACK TO SCHOOL

The Corrs went back to school in Australias political capital of Canberra today.
The Louth supergroup learned there is more than a passing interest in their native country and taught students at Wanmissa High School that Geography lessons can be fun.
As part of its 1998 educational programme Ireland has been adopted by the school in the suburbs of the city.
PROGRAMME
The band helped to launch the programme and delighted students as well as the scores of localand national journalists in attendance with International airs, followed by some of their most popular songs.
The Irish ambassador to Australia, Richard O'Brien, officially launched the programme and he stressed the modern, dynamic forward looking Ireland of writers like Maeve Binchy and Frank McCourt and music superstars like U2, The Cranberries, The Cheiftains and The Corrs.
