How often does Jim change his guitar strings?
From Chloe Smith
I honestly haven't a clue :)) Can anyone help?
Do you know or can you find out what kind of tin whistle Andrea Corr plays? It has a beautiful tone and I'd love to buy one the same.
From Kate
I know that Andrea has more than one type of tin-whistle but I assumed that Andreas tin-whistles were 'normal' ones?? I'm sure they're not designer made or anything, but I know nothing about tin-whistles :)) Can anyone help?
About Andrea's tin whistle, "Walton's" is the brand, "Little black"
is the type and "D" is the key (the clef). as far as I remember. Cyril Chaufton
Andrea Corr plays a Clare Tin Whistle in the key of "D". The
Clare whistle is the most popular Irish whistle used by the professionals. David Le Bas

I have been looking for the new Corrs CD Talk on Corners everywhere. I live in the USA, and it is not to be released until the spring. I can't wait that long to get it. I have tried music stores that sell imports, and I have tried to search pages on the web for the import of it, but have come up with nothing. Could you please help me?
From Maeve
The link on my first page "Buy a Corrs CD" links to World Party Music who have both FNF & TOC.

Who's Paddy McCarthy?
From Jess Lai
The Corrs were asked the exact same question, on a live radio-show in Denmark.
"Who is Paddy McCarthy?"
"We don't know. These traditional tunes are sometimes so old that nobody knows who
wrote them anymore, and then this is being adapted by us, so the tunes are mixed into
other tunes, and other tunes, and nobody knows where the originate is. So Paddy McCarthy,
who knows."

Thanks to Brian Coffey for that answer!!

The Corrs were due to play at the Mean Fiddler in London on June 6 (the day before
Fleadh 97) but the gig has now been cancelled. Do you know
(a) why the gig was cancelled?
(b) if they are playing anywhere else in the UK this year?
From Steve Fisher
I don't know anything about the cancellation of the 'Mean Fiddler' concert. I think the
Corrs are gonna really try to 'break' the UK market with their next album (Out later this
year), there is bound to be a British tour late this year or early next. If anyone else
knows the answers to these questions, your help will be appreciated.

Do 'The Corrs' know how to play any other musical instruments besides the ones they play on stage?
From Lee Pedrazzini
I remember Sharon playing the keyboards at a recent concert but I'm not sure about the
rest, if anyone else knows the answer, your help will be appreciated.

their father who taught them...

will be appreciated. (15th May)
Yes the Corrs did appear on Late Night With
Conan O'Brien during January 1996. They performed an accoustic version of 'Runaway'.

You don't know if The Corrs are planning to go to Sweden when they take that break around June by any chance?? And another thing, have they ever been to Gothenburg in Sweden??
From Carl Johan Lind
I'm not sure where the Corrs are playing in June apart from Dublin & London. I know
that the Corrs played in Stockholm(25 October 1996) in Sweden but not of
Gothenburg. If anyone else knows the answers to these questions, your help would be
appreciated.

The Corrs are playing in Sweden at the Vattenfestivalen in Stockholm august 8-16, this is
an answer to Carl Johan Linds question.
Robert Lutczyk
How can I get the Corrs' new singles? Will I have to wait until their second album release? The new single I mean is `Rainy Day`. Can I find the Australian CD in Music stores? Is there going to be a European tour soon?
From Cristobal Cueva
Rainy Day is available on the single Love To Love You
which is the most recent of the Corrs' releases. The Australasian album is only widely
available in Australia at the moment, there are a few copies available at present in other
places but they are expensive due to import costs. Unfortunately, the only option you
really have is to import these using the record codes on the website. There is going to be
a tour to promote the new album, they will probably tour at the end of this year and the
beginning of 1998. If you live near Cork (Ireland) or London (England) you
can see them this summer playing at the Famine Festival & London Fleadh.

Just wondering if you had any idea when the new Corrs album will start production and will be released. Since their recent concert in Melbourne and upon hearing their new song - I am dying for the new album.
From Katy Hetherington
The new album started with demos being recorded on the week beginning 12th March. They
are in the studio at the moment starting 'proper' demos and the album is expected to be
released around November. They are performing at a festival in Cork, Ireland on June 1st,
so they are taking a break around that time.

Who wrote the song runaway?
From Glen T.
The Corrs write their own songs on 'Forgiven Not Forgotten', the only exception to this
is "Someday" which they co-wrote with American producer David Foster.

I was wondering if there is an address or e-mail address that we can write to the Corrs??
From Mark Purdy
Unfortunately the Corrs don't have an official e-mail address and there is no direct
way to contact them (ie. fan club). However, Nigel Huang offers a service where you can
actually send mail to the Corrs through him, the addresses are:
Write to: Jim
Write to: Sharon
Write to: Andrea
Write to: Caroline
