The Corrs were in Manila from the 15th to the 18th of April.  They stopped by on the last leg of their tour before they were going to "take a month off..." (as said by Caroline Corr herself).  The first stop on the 15th was Fashion Cafe where they met the press and some fans.  The 16th was a free concert in S.M. MegaMall which is a reall big mall in Ortigas, Pasig City (it's about a few hectares big - no exaggeration).  At first, I thought that the crowd wouldn't be too big - after all, it was a Thursday and people don't really know the Corrs, right?  WRONG!!!  There was a traffic jam getting into the building, never mind going up to the right floor (the cocnert was finally held in Mega Trade Hall, on the 5th floor of the Mega Mall).  I finally gave up and decided that I would go with some friends to the concert the next day at Fashion Cafe in Makati City.  The concert was on at 8:30 P.M. so we got it at 8:00 P.M. to give it some time - big mistake, again!  The line was streched going down the stairs.  We finally got in and the place was packed (last I heard, 1,000 people showed up for the concert -  a big crowd when you consider that Fashion Cafe Manila only accomodates about 1,100 people, and when you consider that The Corrs were supposed to be unheard of here).  The concert finally started at 9:30 P.M. and it was something to remember!!!!  Even the four members of the Corrs were amazed at the response and said that it was something that they would truly remember.  I already know I would!!!!!  Waiting in line and having to literally fight my way just to get some standing space was well worth it just to hear them - they were awesome!!!!
