Merilea Driver (host): Last week The Corrs wrapped up their Aussie Tour. The
Irish band debuted on the charts only three years ago and now enjoying international
success. School Torque met up with them at Brookvale their performance.
Interviewer: How are you enjoying your Australian trip so far?
Sharon: Uh, we're loving it. This is our fourth time back to Australia and
uh, we're gonna just keep coming back because we just love it. The tours have gone
really really great so far.
Interviewer: Why do you think your music is so popular?
Jim: Uh, no idea really. I suppose we're just playing music that we
love ourselves, y'know. I mean first of all we have to like our music and we do, and
y'know, that's gotten off a lot of people and we're delighted about that.
Interviewer: What future plans do you guys have?
Caroline: Um, well from here we go to the rest of Australia, then New Zealand and
then it's home for us, actually. A little bit of break for about ten days and then
we're off to England for a tour and the Albert Hall on St. Patrick's Day.
Fan #1: The Corrs, um, absolutely gorgeous, they have great music, great musicians,
they sound brilliant live. I've been to all their concerts so far and going every
night.
Fan #2: Um, they're the best band and we just love their music. It's so cool
and so different from everybody else.
(Shows a bit of The Corrs singing Runaway at the venue)
Fan #3: The Corrs are cool (laughs).
(Shots various shots of The Corrs singing Runaway, live and signing albums)
The Corrs: Hi, we're The Corrs and you're watching School Torque.
