DECEMBER will be 'The Right Time' for local fans of Irish musical sensations, The Corrs, Sunday Life can Exclusively reveal.
For the Dundalk born sister-brother group's determination to play live in Belfast has come up trumps.
Dates at the Whitla Hall on December 6 and 7 will be music to the ears of the Corrs devoted northern following.
At one stage, it looked as if Ulster Corrs fans would be disapointed, with frantic Wonderland promoters and band management unable to book an available hall here.
But Corrs lead singer Andrea was adamant that the band would not let their loyal supporters down.
"Places like the Kings Hall and Ulster Hal were all booked. But we really pushed to play in the north of Ireland.
"We have always enjoyed such great support there and it's always been a brilliant place for us to play.
"The obstacles were there but we wanted this so much. I promised and we all pledged to play in Belfast. We even said we'd play in a field if we had to!"
But before their Belfast gig, sisters, Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and brother Jim will be travelling around Europe to promote the new album, Talk on Corners.
Speaking to Sunday Life from Copenhagen, a delighted Andrea revealed that the Corrs are set for a UK top Ten album placing when the charts are revealed tonight.
"The new album debuted at Number One in Ireland this week which is phenomenal. And we are so pleased about the reaction in the UK.

SO HOT THEY'RE COOL: The Corrs are heading for a big Belfast date

Fired up

"We are working very hard. But how can you possibly sleep or rest when all this is happening? We are ready for this.
"I am so fired up, I wouldn't stop working if you asked me to. But there's no way I'll miss being back home in Dundalk for Christmas!."
