Richard (to audience): Well, Australia is definitely THE destination for some of the biggest names in the music world right now. Celine Dion, of course, here this week for 2 shows at Crown (from transcriber: Melbourne's Casino) tonight and Sunday Night. Mariah Carey and Julio Iglesius about to land any momento and our favourite Irish band; The Corrs, warming themselves up in Hamilton Island this weekend for their national tour.

Andrea: I think there's an afinity between Australian people and Irish people. Not just there's an awful lot of immigrants alright, but...em...I think that we're similar in the things that, like, in our perspective in lives, on life. It's kind of, enjoy it, y'know, and I think like, our music is uplifting and it shows up and everything. So I think Australians are just warmed to it. I think that Celtic influence is a very strong...um...it draws people. Yeah.

Sharon: I think, in 1990, it was the first time we ever got together as a band and...um... there was something in the back of our minds because we've been playing music and [were] taught instruments all our lives and our parents were musicians. So, it kind of made sense to get involved in the music business.

Andrea: You hear, each year, you do have to put yourself in the music chair. Serious raw and screaming or whatever and it's inconceivable that that is for you, y'know. I mean we got so used to being support tours and hearing that for Celine Dion, y'know. That like I remember one day, like back when everybody on board, "imagine if that was for us. Wouldn't we just die?" And now it is.
