The Royal Scottish Forestry Society takes a keen interest in Forestry all over the world. Each year the Society arranges with Forestry Services in other countries to make tours and to be guided through their forests. The tours last from one to two weeks and everyone who is a member of the R.S.F.S. is entitled to apply to take part. Tours have been made to British Columbia, Catalonia, Iceland, Ireland(both North and South), Norway, Poland, South West France and to the United States (Florida). In a like manner, efforts are made to welcome foreign Forestry Services to make tours through Scottish forests.
