We are grateful for the support of the Eccleshall Parish Council, the Stafford Borough Council and County Councillor Henry Butter who used his local members fund to help finance the festival.

Like any voluntary organisation we need the support of local businesses and philanthropists to help us defray the cost of staging the Eccleshall Festival.

The Street Market is the largest expense for the organisers and there are several areas where sponsors could help.

Perhaps the greatest expense is the outdoor PA system which we need to hire for the day and in 2010 cost £250. We need to make sure that everyone knows what is going on the length of the High Street and Stafford Street.

Prizes for the fancy dress competition around £100.

Posters around £75

Advertising in the Festival programme from £30 to £120 for a quarter page to a full page.

Press advertising.

Street entertainment from brass bands at £150 each to buskers from £25 up.
