      The Time is Now

If you are ever going to love me,
love me now while I can know the sweet andtender feelings
which from true affection flow.
Love me now while I am living. Do not wait till I am gone
and then have it cherished in marble, sweet words on ice-cold stone.
If you have tender thoughts of me, Please tell me now.
If you wait till I am sleeping,
never to awaken, there will be a death between us,
and I won’t hear you then.
So, if you love me, even a little bit, let me know it
while I am still living
So I can treasure it.

Our Parish Prayer

God Our Father, give us the grace to go about our tasks in a spirit of eagerness and charity. Grant that we may have the calmness of mind and steadiness of purpose, so that we may do your will in this short life, and obtain happiness in the world to come. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
