We have owned pointers since 1989 and were awarded the affix Flinthill three years later when we had our first litter. Since then we have had a further nine litters, breeding only when we wanted a pup for ourselves.

Some of our puppies have gone to live in carefully chosen homes abroad but most went to homes in this country. It is a joy to see pups we have bred grow up and bring years of pleasure to their owners.

Our dogs are first and foremost companions although they are also show dogs and all have the basic ability to do the job for which they are bred – finding birds.

They are taught good manners and basic obedience by attending our local KC Good Citizen classes – some are better at this than others!

The dogs are handled by Flo in the showring and she is also approved by the Kennel Club to judge pointers at championship shows and Irish setters at open show level. We have five dogs in the Kennel Club's Stud Book and are KC Accredited Breeders.
