Our first championship show!

Our Jenny was at the centre of surprise celebrations recently when Jonathan brought along cake and bubbly to National Gundog Club CS to celebrate Mark's birthday. Everyone tucked into the magnificent cake made of sweets while Jenny enjoyed some sausage treats.

We had a lovely day out in the sunshine at the Annual Summer Dog Oscars fun show at Wallsend. Max (Flinthill Sun King) won second in the Big Dog class and his pal, Sam Anderson-Rowell’s Fizzbomb, was third in the Prettiest Bitch class.

A new ringcraft dog club has been set up in Leadgate near Consett on Tuesday nights.

Max won Best in Match at the club’s first two match nights under judges Thelma Cass and Brian Foster.

And Monty was Best Puppy in Match at the club’s match night in July under judge Brogan Tutty.

Congratulations to Barbara Wilkinson and Flinthill Forget Me Not for some big wins, including Best Puppy in Breed at Driffield CS (pictured right) and Best Puppy in Show at The Pointer Club of Scotland CS. Well done to Barbara's Flinthill Jumping Jack for winning Best in Show
