Phil Jones On - Line |
This site is about me, what interests me and with a little luck, what could interest you.
Tapesponding is one of my main activities.
I help to run a worldwide club, based in the UK, to encourage people to tapespond.
It's a bit like letter writing, but you record your message on tape instead.

Joseph Alexander Leckie
In my (amateur) role as Local Historian, in 1987 I published a book about the life of Mr Joseph Alexander Leckie.
He was born in 1866 in Scotland.
He died in 1938 while still holding the office of Member of Parliament for Walsall
Mr Leckie was a much loved man and is still remembered with great affection.
Book includes history of his family business (saddlery) started in Glasgow in 1849, some family history, and Mr Leckie's unique story.
