The water polo section of Reading Swimming Club is very active, with men's, ladies and junior teams. The men's team plays in the National League Division Two, as well as in the London League, Premier Division. The men's team is currently coached by Mike Proudfoot.

As the only team in Berkshire, Reading also makes up the whole county team.

The ladies' team is still relatively inexperienced but has progressed well over the last couple of years under the guidance of coach Paul Hancock. Several Reading ladies have gone on to play in the National League for different teams.

The sessions currently on offer - both at Central Pool, Reading - are:

Thursday 8.30-10.00 p.m. (This is the swimming club's main club night)

Sunday 7.30-8.45 p.m.
