The landscape
in colour
The world around us is a colourful place and capturing those colours on film can be great fun. It does take a little practise though to produce really successful landscapepictures in colour.
For at start, the composition of a picture can be greatly affected by strong colours in a way that a monochrome image never can, and this must be carefully judged when looking through the viewfinder. Even a small dash of deep red can catch the eye and lead it away from the subject you intended to be the principle attraction. So use those strong primary colours to your advantage as focal points and keep them away from the edges of the frame.
