Alex winning the Allhallows 2001 Open

Alex Hunter is a 6’ 4” 23-24 stone rugby player who has now taken up strongman. He has competed for about a year doing such competitions as the Blair Atholl and Geoff Capes shows. His victory at the Allhallows Open was very impressive beating the favourite, a very in form Andy Mavin.

Alex has now joined the Phil Secure camp and is regularly training events with Andy Mavin, Phil Wright and Richard Giles.

I’m very confident that Alex will qualify for Britain’s Strongest Man next year.
