Andy is fairly new to strongman after being a professional soccer player and long distance runner.

After getting into weightlifting his natural strength started to show. After I started competing Andy got interested and I tried to get him to compete in Allhallows 1998.

He said "give me a year proper training and I'll have a go" well I did and he came back and won it!

His 2min 5sec 1200kg van hold at Alton Towers surprised everyone and a stumble in the 200kg duck walk put him 3^rd in that event.
