Young people have many opportunities to join the Award in Hampshire. Many schools and colleges across the County run the Award as an after school/college or lunchtime activity.

The Award is also run as part of the activities of many Youth Clubs in the County, and at Open Centres, where young people who are not attached to any other organisation can meet with others, and with the help of experienced adults can achieve their Awards.

Nearly all of the voluntary youth organisations (Scouts, Guides, Army Cadet Force, Air Training Corps, Sea Cadets , Boys Brigade, Girls Brigade and Woodcraft Folk) also offer the Award as part of their activities.

There is certain to be an opportunity to take part close to where you live. If you don't belong to a youth organisation offering the Award then get in touch with Bob Rhodes, the Hampshire County Awards Officer at Winchester or by locating your area on the map below which will give you a local contact (if iyou don't have images set in your browser - use the table).
