Organised by the Hampshire Forum of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award it was attended by 26 Duke of Edinburgh volunteers. The delegates were given an insight into the proposed national new DofE IT management system by Mr Simon Whitmore the South East Region Operations Manager. This presentation attracted much interest and debate. In the afternoon the Forum Chairman led a discussion on the use of information available to DofE leaders and groups from the world wide web including for example, how to buy maps at a discount, and weather forecasts for individual mountains.
At lunchtime the Chairman gave his report on the work of the Forum and the Chairman of the Lord Lieutenant's Fund presented his report. The Forum accounts were presented.
