Important information for new members...

Unfortunately, the Senior Squad is full at the moment but we are operating a waiting list for potential new members. If you are interested in joining us, then please email me at pjfrench@btinternet.com giving me your name, date of birth and email address. Due to the continuing high demand we are having to limit new members to competitive swimmers only and new members will be expected to compete, at least at local level. Whilst you are waiting, or if you wish to train for non-competitive reasons, there is a list of other masters swimming resources in Newcastle on the "sessions" page of this site.

At long last, this picture shows the winner of Squad Swimmer of the Year for 2010 - Kate Smith.

Kate became World Masters champion for 200m Freestyle in the 25-29 year age group at the World Championships held in Gothenburg, Sweden.

I'm sure Squad Swimmer of the Year trumps that though.

Well done Kate!!
