Our four holiday cottages overlook the sea of the Menai Straits, North Wales, on the coastal edge of Snowdonia National Park. The self catering holiday cottages are peacefully situated (and traffic free), at eight hundred and fifty feet (260m) in the foothills of  Snowdonia, on our 10 acre Plas Heulog estate. The holiday cottages are in the country 2 miles from the seaside at Llanfairfechan (sandy beach), halfway between Conwy and Bangor on the North Wales Coast, and have panoramic views of the Snowdonia mountains and across the Menai Straits to Anglesey. The cottages are in an excellent location for touring Snowdonia and North Wales and our holiday cottages have Wales Tourist Board walking and cycling awards. Terrace of holiday cottages
Plas Heulog main house Built in 1896, Plas Heulog (translates to 'Sunny House') is our home, and we are available to give advice and assistance if needed.

Our location is ideal for exploring the Castles, country houses and gardens of North Wales, being less than half an hour's drive from Bodnant Garden (NT), Conwy, Caernarfon and Beaumaris castles, Plas Newydd (NT) and Penrhyn Castle (NT), as well as Snowdon railway at Llanberis.

The single storey terrace of four self-catering holiday cottages, situated above the house, with private parking, makes the most of the stunning mountain and sea views with patio doors from all main rooms opening onto a verandah - lawn chairs provided.

You have immediate access to foopaths and bridleways taking you out onto the Snowdonia mountains amongst the sheep and wild ponies, with an illustrated walk sheet provided to the pre-historic 'Druid Stone Circle'.
