The Ballad of St George

This play uses the model of a mystery or mummers' play to tell the legend of St George and the Dragon. Written in verse, it has bags of humour and opportunities for dance plus 6 storming songs.
Firstly thank you for writing such brilliant plays! We performed the Ballad of St George on Tuesday night and it was such a success. The Ballad of Robin Hood

Target Age Group 9 - 11 cast 15 - 40

Plenty of opportunity for a spot of swash-buckling as Robin, forced into Sherwood forest as an outlaw, forms his brave and merry band (including his famous encounter with Little John), takes on the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham and wins the hand of the beautiful Marion, before meeting his end at the hands of the foul Abbess of Kirklees. 6 totally original easy-to-learn-and-sing songs. Written mostly in rhyme with lots of humour and pathos.

Too Many Apples

Target Age Group 9 - 12 Cast At least 20

This is a story set in modern times and is about a young girl from a wealthy family who meets and befriends a young homeless boy on the streets of a big city. The play uses songs and a 'chorus' to describe the plot and comment on the characters' actions. 8 totally brilliant songs.
*The kids really enjoyed doing it, particularly dancing and rapping to the Youth Rap".

He became one the most influential figures of Victorian England and is remembered today by his gift of Ropner Park to the townsfolk of Stockton. This play tells of Sir Robert's astonishing life and the fortunes of Ropner Park right up to the present day when it has received a lottery grant of over £2m to restore it to its Victorian splendour. A perfect vehicle for anyone studying Victorians.
