Sea Essay Charges 2009

Low season:- 1 November 31 March (5 months)

Mid season:- 1 April to 31 May, and 1 to 31 October

High season:- 1 June to 30 September

 

As in previous years CSD will reimburse skippers for fuel and gas.

Insurance Levy

The above rates are INCLUSIVE of the Insurance Levy which was introduced in 2004. The amounts included remain as follows:-

Sea Time Berths, Day Sails and Training Courses - £1 per person, per day

Private Charters - £5 per day (charged on the boat, not per person).

Temporary Membership

There is a Temporary Membership charge of £5 per day for any crew member who is not either a paying CSSA/CSSC member, or their wife/husband or child under 21yrs of age. Temporary membership can only be used for a maximum of 14 days in any 12 month period, before joining CSSA as a Full or Associate Member.

RYA Examination Fees

These are payable in addition to the above YM/CS Preparation Course fees. Current fees (valid from 1 January 2009) are:-
