Councillor Michelle Fenner
represents Sir Moses Montefiore Ward, and also is a
member of the Policy Scrutiny Committee.
I teach in a local Secondary School, where I am also the Special Needs Co-ordinator.
I enjoy working with the local community and have helped set up a residents' association to improve the quality of life of all members of the community and have recently been involved in a project funded by the Children's Fund to provide leisure activities for young people in the Prestedge Avenue area.
I also work closely with the Thanet Early Years Project (until recently I was a Trustee) and am particularly involved in the bid and plans to build a new Family/Community Resources Centre at Newlands.
