| Kevin
is currently in his second spell with Southport after a
January 2004 move from Runcorn FC Halton. The 24-year old,
Liverpool born frontman began his career with North West
Counties side Skelmersdale United before being signed by
then 'Port manager Phil Wilson in the summer of 2001. However,
after only 5 substitute appearances in the Conference, he
was sold to Liam Watson at Runcorn where he was one of 7
former Southport youngsters. In the middle of the 2003/2004
season, Leadbetter favoured a move back to Haig Avenue and
the manager that he followed from the Halton Stadium will
be hoping he can re-pay his faith quickly. |
