It isn't often that a small rural town is made the subject of a famous TV show, and Walnut Grove have made the most of it with their museum. There are no Ingalls artifacts here but an amazing selection of photographs, maps and documents chart the origin and growth of the town. The museum has also managed to obtain various objects used in the TV show, Little House on the Prairie. This includes the famous 'CI - CI' engraved mantle. Among the photos is one of Mr Nelson and his daughter Anna. She is the one who treated Laura's doll, Charlotte so cruelly and left her in the frozen puddle. There is also a picture of the school.
