Fry
the onions
slowly in
butter.
Line an oven-proof
dish with
the short
crust pastry,
and place
the fried
onions on
top. Chop
the corned
beef, and
layer on top
of the onions.
Beat the eggs,
and pour over
the meat and
onions. Sprinkle
the grated
cheese on
top, and cover
with pastry.
Place in a
moderate oven
for half an
hour, or until
the pastry
is slightly
brown.
Serve with
potatoes,
or chips and
vegetables.

is yummy!
Best served
on a Saturday
afternoon
with loads
of gravy.
By the way,
if you don't
know how to
make short
crust pastry,
do the same
as I do and
cheat by nipping
down to Sainsbury's
and get some
ready made
from the freezer
section. No
point re-inventing
the wheel,
is there?
