I've included links to some friends and favourites. All are highly recommended!
- Jackie C World Tour pages. Great site featuring news updates on the JackieC World Tour, with links to band members and related material.
- Z'EV is an amazing percussionist and qabalist. This is his Rhythmajik site, which includes texts, sounds and images. You can also download an electronic text of his Temple Press book Rhythmajik. The book is a complete guide to qabalistic drumming and healing technique. Absolutely the best source for creative magick!
- Genesis P-Orridge. All new web-site from Genesis P-Orridge. The site has been fully redesigned and expect new content to be added over the coming months.
- Jackie C World Tour Book. The on-going virtual book, hosted by BowieWonderworld.
- People Like Us are a breath of fresh air in the world of cut-up sounds and mixed-media deconstruction. Working with found material, PLU take the ultra-ordinary and with it create something utterly disarming and extraordinary. Their site is well worth a visit.
- Cyclobe work in post-Industrial soundscapes, but with a fine sensitivity. Good site, with excellent info.
- Antony and the Johnsons. Antony has possibly the most exquisite voice I've ever had the pleasure to hear. I first encountered him on the Lou Reed 'Raven' tour (May 2003), on which he sang the most beautiful version of 'Candy Says'. The highlight of an amazing show. Do check him out.
- Coldspring Records are a great indie lable. Check them out for PTV releases, including Direction of Travel, a collaborative project by Genesis and Z'EV.
- Joe Viglione, Boston superstar and otherwise known as The Count, produced one of my all-time favourite albums I'm a Star which includes an ace version of the Velvets' Foggy Notion, and the stunning 'We're Gonna Run the Night Away'. Still big on Lou Reed too, judging by this. For more music stuff go to Varulven.
- Julia Callan-Thompson was a hippy/beat icon in the London of the 1960s, and friend to Alexander Trocchi, Michael X, Bob Guccione, Timothy Leary, Colin MacInnes, R. D. Laing, Eric Clapton and William Burroughs. Pix and info page.
- Douglas Rushkoff, author/cultural analyst. Excellent site from the author of Cyberia and other key works. He's recently added a good discussion area on Open-Source Religion.
- Stewart Home writes astounding and hilarious fiction, alongside serious critiques of contemporary society. Always radical, this is Stewart's official fan site.
- David Cotner's Actions site is updated every couple of weeks and lists counter-cultural art/music events worldwide. Check it out for alternative music and art events worldwide.
- Funny Literature -
A guide to the funniest novels ever written. Some good resources, including plenty on Martin Amis.
- Center for Process Studies This site has plenty of information and links about the philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead. They publish the leading academic journal in the field. Worth checking out if you want to find out more about the area of philosophy I'm working in.
- TPL-on-the-web Additional links page to sites referring to Temple Press and related.
- Process-on-the-web Additional links to Process Philosophy related sites.
