We had previously played the Star Trek game, (Klingons hi-jack the Enterprise - players are lesser officers), so had a vague idea of the mechanics. Even so, it took five of us enough time just to put the board together.

     The game is set between 'Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi'. The players are members of the Rebel Alliance and you are trying to destroy the under- construction second Death Star. At various points Lord Vader addresses the players 'directly' and depending on your response, alters how 'the Force' is within you.

     Later in the game, one player becomes 'taken to the dark side' and then has to act rather like the Germans in the classic board-game 'Escape from Colditz'. (I actually won that game in a competition from some sweet company - bit of trivia for you).

     Well we found Star Wars pretty difficult, needing to stop the video to double check rules, and so we didn't survive. Though had we won there wouldn't have needed to have been a third movie!
