RICHARD REEVE BIOGRAPHY

     Richard Reeve was born in London and educated at the University of London and the University of Greenwich, London. He has spent some time in Tangier and Andalusia (Spain) as a tutor and is an international poet and author.

     His interest in poetry and writing generally began with the publication of his novel, JUNK JUNGLE. It was published under the pen name Mark Christian in 1960 by Michael Joseph. From then he continued to write during an academic career and began to publish again when this was ended. The latest of his book of poetry published by the University of Salzburg, SENTIENCE. His interests are history, archaeology, wildlife and, of course, writing.

     A prolific writer, his poems and stories have appeared in magazines and anthologies from Japan to Australia, United States to New Zealand as well as in the United Kingdom. He writes in Tanka and Haiku forms and, of course, in conventional verse. His recurrent themes are of environmental issues, animal welfare and the nature of the human condition.

     His work has been broadcast by the BBC and has been read by Story Time... Live in Staten Island, New York. He now lives in the historic town of King's Lynn, Norfolk and is married to an American lady from Texas.
