Below are some pictures taken of the
Dalton Park shopping outlet centre in Murton, on 10th April 2003.





As an update on the Seaham Town Centre
bypass road below are some images of the road and the view from it. These
pictures were taken on 30th March 2003.
Below are some pictures taken of the progress of the new link road, behind
Ferguson's garage, and Mary Street. Taken on 20th January 2003.
Below are a
sequence of pictures taken on 4th January 2003, of the Dalton Park site, at
Murton.
Below are number of pictures taken on 17th December 2002, depicting the current
progress the Seaham link road currently under construction to link the town with
the A182 at Dawdon Business Park and the A19, current estimates suggest that the
road is due for completion by February 2003.



Whilst regeneration continues apace in Seaham, it is still very
disheartening to see certain buildings lying
derelict and one of our great features, (some would argue the town's greatest asset), rendered inaccessible to the general public.

On Monday 4th November 2002, Seaham Town Council held its annual firework display, a great success, and extremely well attended. Below is a selection of pictures of the display - if you missed it be sure to attend next year..




The three pictures below were taken on 24th October 2002, and depict the start of the demolition of the dock company's former warehousing buildings, and hopefully a new beginning for Seaham town centre.
