Primrose Hill Scout Campsite

A traditional Scout campsite
with heathland camping areas
surrounded by both coniferous
and deciduous woodland.
There are seven designated camping areas,
all open streches
of grass land each individually named
:- Lamb Pens,
New Motorway, Old Motoray, Home, The
Prairie,
sutton and South Field. Water points
are situated close
to each area, as well as latrine cabins
and urinals. The site
also has a chemical loo disposal point.
Ample fallen wood is
available for fires, for which there
are brick fire places.
There are two cabins (names Nelthorpe
& St. Vincents)
both equipped with running water, sinks
and cooking areas
with cookers (bring your own gas). There
is a small camp
chapel, campfire circle (seating for
about 250) and
two main assembly areas with flag poles.
