These are basically to check the glider is working properly. All the control surfaces(rudder, elevator and alerons) should match up to the relevant controls on the transmitter. Then you should walk away from the glider with the arial closed and the signals should transmit 100 paces away. Then wait and watch your plane for ten minutes to check that there is no interference.
