KBC is the youngest of the 6 clubs, which form RPBA. It is essentially a company team, formed in 1986 by members of the then Davy McKee Social Section. Over the first number of seasons the team became well known for playing with Thomas Taylor brown woods, of which a job lot were purchased. It took a number of games (or was it seasons) before they managed to even win a rink let alone a match but now under the new name of KBC they are moving forward as a club. The team currently compete in the Cleveland and Teesside Bowls League. Tuesday evening is normally a practice night for the club and any interested players are always welcome. TOP
