The usual format is a friendly, informal singaround. If you're new to singing or playing, you'll be encouraged to have a go in a supportive atmosphere. If you just want to listen, that's OK. Roughly once a month, we book a guest.
Our very own folk festival held in the lovely town of Alcester. It's a song-based festival with a superb line up and a camp site that is second to none.

Dave James plays guitar, accordion and Indian lap organ. He doesn't always admit to having written some of the songs he sings, but they're not bad. |

Eric Jackson has a deep, resonant voice and, whatever type of song he's singing - comic, sentimental or a rousing shanty - it sounds good. |

John Denny has written quite a number of songs, some taking Birmingham as their theme, others looking further afield. He also sings many traditional songs. |

Ron Jackson (son of Eric) has a nice line in humorous songs. |

Jane Kremer has been singing around the Birmingham area for many years and is another who has turned her hand to songwriting. |
