******* URGENT NEWS *********

Due to unexpected problems outside our control we cannot use Netherstowe School this Sunday. All events scheduled for Netherstowe will move to King Edward School (Bader Hall and other halls in that school).

THIS IS SUNDAY ONLY. Other days remain as planned. Timings remain the same. Events at Boley remain the same.

On Sunday, if an event is down for Netherstowe Main Hall it will move to Bader Hall. If it is down for the Gym it will move to the Gym below/adjacent to Bader.

If it is down for Netherstowe Little Theatre, it will move to the Workshop room adjacent to Bader Hall.

The shop will also move.

All three venues will be signposted within Bader Hall/ King Edward School. Maps etc will be available on Friday/Saturday in the Festival Office at Netherstowe.

Catering at Bader/King Edward School will unfortunately be very limited. Tea/coffee/squash and limited sandwiches is all we can do there. There is good catering near to Boley Park Community Hall – the other Sunday venue.

Friday & Saturday: Please note that Netherstowe School has failed to obtain a licence for alcohol sales so there will be no bar at all. Meals, hot and cold drinks and snacks will be available as usual.

The reason for the venue change is that Netherstowe School failed to apply in time for public use on Sunday, which is now a required condition.

IMPORTANT: Season tickets are now SOLD OUT apart from Sunday season tickets (£10) which are still available.

Helpful Notes and Venue Postcodes

There are roadworks (due to be completed before the festival) on both carriageways of the A51 at its junction with Eastern Avenue (A5192), the result of which is that traffic cannot at present turn into Eastern Avenue from the A51 at this point. This will affect vehicles from the north west, coming into Lichfield, en route to Netherstowe. It will also affect those from the south en route to the camp site. Work is due to finish on Friday 13th June so, in theory, dancers should have no problems. However, you might like to check with Staffs CC beforehand at 01785 276696 (Alan Chapman) or 0800 232323.

You can pay on the door for all events, space permitting, but season ticket
holders will be given priority entry up to the start time at several
of the key sessions on Saturday morning and evening.

And you can save money with a season ticket.
