Festival Founders Ken and Naomi Alexander are presented with gifts from the Festival committee by Chairman Patrick Hunter at the Festival Come All Ye session, to commemorate the awarding of EFDSS 75th Anniversary Awards to the Alexanders. These important awards were made in recognition of Ken and Naomi's special services to Folk Dance over the last seven decades.

Young Irish dancers from Lichfield's Bojangles team led by Jules Cole displayed their skills in the city and at the Come All Ye.
Suzanne Moorfield shows Festival-goers her fine needlepoint in this extraordinary tapestry of a Jane Austen Ball.

Rumworth Morris performed at the Saturday American evening with Kathy Anderson, as well as outside Lichfield Cathedral.

Nick Dewhurst from 3D band leads a music workshop. The verdict of established band musicians who attended Nick's workshop was 'It certainly wasn't dull!' and the special chord progression he recommended was chosen for one of the dances in the evening - The Phoenix! The music sessions have been expanded at Lichfield to provide a whole day of interesting sessions, so, if your focus is primarily on music, it is well worth your while to come to Lichfield.
Extra verve was added with a couple of new young dancers visiting the Festival for the first time in 2007 - they plan to be back next year!
