Cambridge culture excursion day – own transport – organiser, David Cheeseman

Guided 1.5 hours walking tour starting at 10.30

Followed by a leisurely lunch at own location or picnic by the river.  There is plenty of time for those who wish to go punting or shopping

Friday 16th  June 2006

Gt Blakenham ecological excursion day - own transport – organiser, Ben Gordon

Technical visit toViridor (waste management). Adults (over 18) only. 

Masons Materials Recycling Facility, Great Blakenham, Ipswich, Suffolk

A guided 2.5hr  tour in English starting at 10.00 (maximum 20 visitors)

A comparison between UK & German kerbside collections/recycling would be interesting, Q&A with possible press call.  Refreshments.

Mystery lunch of your choice.  ‘The Lion’ at Needham Market is recommended.    Free afternoon / shopping / seaside.

Evening barbecue / Sausage Sizzle with Eileen. Meet at The Fludyers, Undercliff Road East, Felixstowe,  6pm  BYO sausages and drink 

 

Saturday 17th June 2006:  

Bressingham Gardens and Steam train rides day – own transport –  organiser, Jon Nixey

Meet at 12:30   by the main entrance.  The location is two miles from Diss station.

Wander through the Bressingham estate, museums and garden centre.  Steam train ride included.  Picnics are allowed and there is also a cafe.   

Grand finale evening barbecue hosted by Mark and Nicky
