After a faithful re-edited doff of the cap to the Kraftwerk classic ‘Vom Himmel Hoch’, the original cheeky boys come up with another tasty retread. This time it’s the turn of George McCrae to fall under the splicer’s blade and his classic ’I Get Lifted’ opus from 1974.
Tightened and squared around the edges for the ‘modern’ dancefloor, it’s a timely re-edit that's pressed nice and loud and edited with the mixer in mind.
Clocking in at around 110bpm it may be not the most urgent track, but then we’ve all heard about the tortoise and the hare. Drop it anytime, grab a partner and dosie doe with more soul than a Barry White obituary.
