1/12th Reliant "R" Construction Rules.

1 Models to be a reasonable representation of a full size Reliant   3 wheeler.

2 The car must have 3 wheels only, 1 front and 2 rear.

3 Rear tyres to be Precision Silver control tyres. Front tyre choice open.

4 No tyre additives allowed.

5 Only Rapid Pink reliant chassis or copies of allowed.No flexcuts or other suspension allowed.

6 Rear wheels 1" (25mm) wide maximum. Rear axle and wheels may not exceed width of shell.

7 Motors to be Standard Mabuchi RS540SH motor, as supplied by the manufacturer.

8 Batteries to be sub-C sized nicads only, rated individually at 1.7 amp/hr (or lower) and 1.2volts.

9 Vehicles will use a maximum of 4 cells and 4.8 volts nominal.

10 Any mechanical speed controller allowed, which must have reverse fitted and working.

11 No differentials or limited slip axles allowed.          

12 Only approved bodies allowed currently Precision Regal Van and
     Reliant Robin Saloon.Windows to be clearly defined wheel wells
     to be cut out as per Rule 1.

13 The drivers' name must be on the outside of the vehicle.

14 No external bumpers allowed

15 Drivers must keep within the spirit of the rules.

1/12th Reliant "R" Racing Rules.

1 Races to be run in a clockwise direction, on a standard oval over 4 or 5 minutes.

2 Only limited contact allowed, i.e.; No full-blown fencing or head-on collisions etc.

3 Scrutineering will be carried out during the meeting.
