My son is more handsome than this - he has been pixelled out as request of my wife.

I am an individual running a small business designing and selling simple but useful products for blind and disabled computer users. I generate a very modest income but recently things have become difficult. This is due to many expenses happening at once.

I am looking for a way to generate extra income to build back our “emergency fund” prior to Christmas. My wife is due to have a serious medical procedure in the near future and extra household help would be very useful.

I would welcome any task that you think my skills can satisfy, particularly quality checking or testing any product or service you supply. I am unable to travel for a prolonged period of time due to my wife’s health. I will consider anything legal*, regardless of how bizarre it might seem to you.

* I am not interested in money making schemes or franchises. I am looking to provide a service to someone who can use my skills and can accommodate my situation.

My career and skills are briefly summarised below:

2002 to present: Writing Windows software applications as RWF Talking Software.

2000 - 2002: Quality control, software testing, release management, Oracle database development.

1998 - 2000: Oracle database development.

1997 - 1998: Oracle database training.

Previously:
My career started as an apprentice welder in 1983, but I was never any good at it and became a freelance writer / bartender. I decided to rejoin the rat race at the bottom by folding cardboard boxes in a TV factory in 1991. I later became a forklift truck driver in the same company. In 1993 I was promoted to technical writer and for the next few years wrote and desktop published the instruction manuals for the factory’s TVs.

My strongest skills are probably my DTP skills. I’m not the smartest guy on the planet but I believe that if I can understand most things providing the person trying to explain knows what he is talking about.
