RWF Talking Software - About Us We are best known for our Talking Dictionary software product, which we designed in 2001. Although our dictionary has been copied by a competitor, it still remains the most up to date and featured solution available to visually impaired computer users today. If you’d like to find out more about this software product, please visit our product information page. The links are indicated below for your convenience. Our Main Staff Richard Fairbairn’s information technology background is in Oracle database programming, but he has also worked as a technical author and development analyst. Before becoming involved in developing products for the visually impaired, Richard Fairbairn managed Intertain UK LTD's Oracle Training in Scotland. Francis Brightman is a programmer who also handles our web site design. Francis provides technical support to some of our customers and also manages the control and dispatch of our mail. Francis is a part time employee. His day job sees him involved in website optimization and customer care. As you can see, the core of our operation is very small. We have 4 freelance trainers with varied skillsets and experience from Windows and Microsoft Office product expertise to Oracle and internet based applications. The bulk of the training we supply is in Oracle database programming.
