Talking Dictionary for Windows Vista...
“There really was not much to it. A little tweaking and a lot of testing. Now RWF Talking Software’s critically acclaimed Talking Dictionary is ready for users who’ve chosen the Windows Vista operating system.
“For some reason, Microsoft have decided not to include the Windows help application in the Windows Vista operating system. We can see no logical reason for this, but that’s the way it is. So one of the things we had to do was to change the default behavior of Talking Dictionary so that the Windows help file option would not be the default. Now the text based help is default, which is probably a lot more useful to blind users anyway.
“We tested all the dictionary voices and were satisfied that everything worked according to the original specifications that we’ve tested on Windows ME and Windows XP over the years. We also made sure that no new conflicts had arisen with existing screen readers and other popular software run on Vista. We were happy to note that nothing new had come along - problem wise
