Q: Among teams in the Premiership or Football League, what is
unique about Hull City?
A(1): They are the only team whose name contains no letters at
all that you can colour in.
A(2): They were the only club with six floodlight pylons.
As far as the first answer goes, I've often imagined a group of fans on a train on their way to a match. They've got bored of playing cards, they've all read from cover to cover the three different tabloid newspapers they have between them, there's only so many times you can discuss the team line-up for the upcoming match, and the buffet's shut. One of them starts doodling on the League tables, and after a while shouts out the question above. And given that we're talking about Railtrack, that's probably on the Tilehurst to Reading journey.......
In the rest of Europe there are a few other teams that have no letters that can be filled in - Kuuysi, FC Zurich, Linz - although it's always a bit difficult to know what the real names of some of these teams are (as opposed to the Anglicised versions we often use in this country). However, Kirsty Bennett suggested that for a team to qualify as an answer, they really should have no letters that can be coloured in whether written in capitals or mixed case, which counts out FC Zurich. Clearly, we need someone to define the rules. That person is me, because it's my website! FC Zurich are still in!
The second answer was suggested by James Hutchinson before Hull City moved to the Kingston Communications Stadium. I don't know of any other clubs that ever had exactly six floodlight pylons
