Everyone knows this one now, of course.
Steve Waite suggested an alternative answer of Malcolm Macdonald (although in that case the "every year" part would have to be left out of the question). The point is that in the 1974 final, the much-hyped Macdonald played for 90 minutes and hardly got a touch of the ball.
