Football Quiz - Answers

Q: Arsenal do it at least once in every four years, Liverpool have done it the most, Man Utd have never done it, Everton did it once. As a player Rio Ferdinand has done it the most and Duncan Ferguson the least. What is it?
A: ?

This question is badly phrased and I may not have quite the original version here. There are currently two plausible stories going round as to the answer. The first says that the answer is "win Fair Play awards". If this is true then clearly the first part about Arsenal should say something slightly different. I haven't checked up on the rest of the question, but the answer does seem possible.

The second story is that the question was invented by the owner of a website (a particularly useless website for a nasty little club and part of a rubbish network, incidentally) and that there is no answer.

There is a further alternative, which is that the answer is "finish ahead of Alex Ferguson"! This is only possible of course if the creator of the question has no grasp at all of the English language, but the theory goes that Arsenal have finished ahead of Manchester United on average once every four years during Ferguson's spell in management at Old Trafford, Everton have done so once and Liverpool more often than any other club. Obviously Manchester United can't finish ahead of themselves, whilst in an alphabetical list of players and managers, Rio Ferdinand comes immediately ahead of Alex Ferguson and Duncan Ferguson immediately afterwards (although how that is described as "done it the most" and "the least" is beyond me).
