Darren is in the 23-strong Scotland Under-17 squad for a training camp on 6th and 7th November.
Scotland Under-17s played two games against Northern Ireland and Darren played in the first match. Scotland changed the team for the second game and I don't know if he played in it or not.
Tuesday, 9th September, 2002 - Northern Ireland 0
Scotland 1 (at Coleraine Showgrounds). Darren played the whole
game.
Wednesday, 11th September, 2002 - Northern Ireland 1 Scotland 3 (at
Limavady Showgrounds).
Darren was selected for a Scotland Under-17 training squad, but did not attend as he was playing for England in the Nordic International Tournament (see next section).
Darren played for England in the Under-16 Nordic tournament (described by the FA as an Under-17 tournament).
2002 Nordic International Tournament

The tournament was for players born in 1986 or later,
which I would normally describe as Under-16s. Seven of the eight
competing countries referred to their teams as Under-16s but
confusingly the Football Association has decided to call the
entry from England the Under-17s. England won the tournament,
which was played in Sweden.

Stadium, Piteå). Darren started the game.
Friday, 2nd August 2002 - England 2 Norway 1 (at Björknäsvallen

The four home nations have taken part in a competition called the Victory Shield at Under-15 level for some years. In recent times, the competition has gained more exposure due to live coverage of games on Sky Sports. Reorganisation of the cut-off dates for age-group international games has caused some confusion (well, to me if no-one else!) and technically the competition is now described as for Under-16s.
Darren Campbell was in the England squad for the Wales game but not selected. The results and league table for England's participation in the tournament were as follows:
Friday, 12th October 2001 - England 3 Northern Ireland 0
Friday, 2nd November 2001 - England 3 Wales 1 (Adams Park, High
Wycombe)
Friday, 30th November 2001 - England 4 Scotland 2
